ABOUT US
The Outcrops Lodge is a family run farm with owners Steven and Kim Kitchener at the helm. Situated amongst the rugged North Waikato hills the lodge offers guests a private and restful escape from all the hustle and bustle of busy, daily life.

The original farm was purchased in 2014 and in June 2022 Steve and Kim purchased the neighbouring farm to join the two blocks together. Both are deeply fond of the property and its breathtaking views and decided it was simply too lovely not to share with others.
With close to 1200 acres, guests can explore the rugged landscape with guided walks and horse treks. We have an exclusive hunting block on the property where tailored hunting packages can be organised with Adventure Hunting.

The old family home was repurposed to create a country style retreat for others to enjoy, with a hot tub and large outdoor fire place among the amenities.
From couple’s nights, family getaways to friend group gatherings the space has been designed for people to come and create lasting memories with their loved ones.
The Outcrops Lodge has all the comforts of home and has everything to help you truly enjoy your stay.
From a fully equipped kitchen, Nespresso machine including capsules, BBQ, large outdoor fireplace and a large hot tub perfectly set at 38 degrees.
At certain times of the year our mature fruit trees, both stone and citrus, are abundant with delicious fruity goodness. We make our own preserves but do encourage our guests to enjoy fresh fruit straight from our trees!

The lodge has 4 bedrooms and can sleep between 1 – 9 people. The annex provides an extra room to accommodate a further 2 people.
